I love the rain—it’s my absolute favorite kind of weather. There’s something magical about the world when it’s raining; everything feels fresh, and the air smells earthy and pure. Watching the raindrops fall is mesmerizing, whether they’re trickling down a windowpane or drumming softly on the roof. Rain has this calming effect, as if it’s washing away the stress and noise of daily life, leaving behind a peaceful atmosphere.
I enjoy the cozy feeling of staying indoors with a warm drink, listening to the rhythmic sounds of the rain outside. It’s the perfect backdrop for reading a book, watching a movie, or simply relaxing. And when I do step out, there’s a thrill in the coolness of the rain, the way it feels against my skin, and the joy of splashing through puddles. Rainy days just have a unique charm, making everything feel more alive and vibrant.
I’m leaving because the weather is too good. I hate London when it’s not raining

Bad weather always looks worse through a window.
The long, dull, monotonous years of middle-aged prosperity or middle-aged adversity are excellent campaigning weather for the devil
The autumn wind is a pirate. Blustering in from sea with a rollicking song he sweeps along swaggering boisterously. His face is weather beaten, he wears a hooded sash with a silver hat about his head… The autumn wind is a Raider, pillaging just for fun.
